Charity Business Event “HRs & Wine” by Smart Solutions: Results and Conclusions

On November 10, 2023, at the initiative of Smart Solutions, a charity business event was held, which united Ukrainian HR specialists with a dual goal: to discuss the most pressing professional issues and to raise funds for demining our country. We managed to gather more than 100 participants and 17 speakers. The event was held in Unit city. 

The rich program of the event included speeches by well-known experts in the field of HR, military personnel, cultural figures, etc. In particular, among the speakers were Natalia Teryakhina, HRD at Kernel, Olga Bezpalko, director of the Department of Social Policy at JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, Ihor Syrovatko, director of the Department of Customer Service of OLX Ukraine and Central Asia, Tymofiy Kramarev, commander of the mortar battery “Midgard”, Vladyslav Zhaivoronok, a fighter of the Azov Regiment and a defender of Azovstal, Yulia Dalibuk, marketing director at “Robota.ua” and many other interesting speakers.

The topics of the speeches were relevant and diverse: from maintaining psychological stability and safety as the basis of HR management during the war, and the problem of personnel hunger and the outflow of personnel to the analysis of the peculiarities of working with veterans and the justification of the need to help sappers in demining the country today.

Special insights as a result of the speeches became: awareness of the need for adaptation not only of veterans to society but also of the latter to the soldiers who returned from the front; understanding the specifics of personnel assessment in war conditions (not to communicate during alarms, shelling, etc.); understanding the departure of the company’s brand into the background in relation to safety and comfort at the workplace, etc.

Undoubtedly, the event would not have taken place without the support of partners: wine partner Leleka wines, information partners Robota.ua, HURMA, Q-team, OLX, IT Smart Heads and many others.

Separately, we would like to emphasize the role in the organization of the event and express special thanks to the charitable partner, namely the Ukrainian foundation Come Back Alive. All funds from the purchase of tickets automatically went to the Foundation, and from it directly to the demining project.
