Business-Coffee: adaptation of veterans. Successful cases of companies and psychologist’s practical advice

Smart Solutions and the Filllin company will hold a business-coffee on July 26 at 9:00 a.m. in Kyiv at Kniaziv Ostrozhykh St., 32/2, (Senator Business Centre) on the topic: “Adaptation of veterans. Successful cases of companies and psychologist’s practical advice.”

“For us, as an HR provider, it is important to raise top topics related to employees and their pain points first. And today, we believe that the adaptation of veterans to civilian life is one of the most important topics that should be highlighted, colleagues should be gathered and experiences should be shared. We decided to gather companies that have stories to tell and can share unique cases with HR,” says Oksana Mazur, HRD of Smart Solutions. 

2 million of our citizens are fighting in a full-scale invasion. Now some of them are gradually returning or have already returned to civilian life. However, not all of them know how to adapt. Not everyone understands that the body and mind react normally to an unpredictable situation in which they got into. 

“War and peace are two opposite forms of interaction in society. Two completely different ways of living. When a person returns from the front, peaceful life is often devalued in his mind. It seems to a veteran that serious things are happening at the front, but here something unimportant. Our task with you is to prepare society and adapt the veteran to a peaceful life in the workplace. At the event, I will tell you how to do it better so that no one gets hurt and only gets a positive experience,” says Nataliia Prostun, a psychologist.
